Restless Legs Syndrome

DESCRIPTION

Restless legs syndrome usually strikes at night, causing a sensation of numbness, "pins and needles," combined with achiness. It affects about 15% of the population, and is common in middle-aged women. Relief from the symptoms can often be found by simply moving the legs.

The cause of this condition is unknown. Some contributing factors may be rheumatoid Arthritis, addiction to caffeine or cigarettes, Pregnancy, or Hypoglycaemia.
