Hyperactivity

DESCRIPTION

Often displayed by a child who is excessively or pathologically active, hyperactivity (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder - ADHD) often merely represents the failure of an individual to fit into his or her environment. ADHD may be linked to food allergies and sensitivities to food colourings and preservatives. Some studies have reported the presence of high levels of lead in blood tests.

It is seen as a developmental problem will subside upon maturity (aided by pharmaceutical prescriptions). Rarely does the condition extend into adulthood.
