Haemorrhoids

DESCRIPTION

Haemorrhoids are enlarged blood vessels in the rectal area and are particularly common during Pregnancy and immediately after childbirth. They are most likely caused by a low-fibre diet and a sedentary lifestyle, haemorrhoids cause their sufferers Pain, Itching, and abnormal bleeding into stool or toilet tissue. "Straining" during bathroom use or sitting for prolonged periods may contribute to the problem.

Haemorrhoids may be internal (in the anal canal), periphery (on the exterior of the anus), or a combination.
